From a high school co-op to a tree care business of his own.
Tyson didn't pick up a chainsaw and call himself an arborist. He came up through real training — through the country's first high school arborist co-op program — and went straight from there into the trade. He's a Certified Arborist who has spent his whole working life learning what trees actually need and what they don't. Trees are his thing. Always have been.
Pearce Professional Tree Care didn't start with a marketing budget. It started with friends and family asking for help. Tyson would take down a tree for somebody on a weekend, then their neighbour would call, then the neighbour's brother. The work kept finding him because he kept showing up — fair price, clean job, no upsell, no surprises.
He runs the business out of Peterborough and works the Kawarthas. He's First Nations, fully insured, and shows up to every estimate himself — no dispatcher, no quote-by-photo, no salesman. If you call Pearce Professional Tree Care, you're talking to the guy who's actually going to climb the tree.
